Sam has seamlessly progressed from sound engineering student to talented mixer/engineer/programmer, working with some of England's most creative and innovative producers, among them Jacknife Lee. He has worked on diverse projects from recording punk bands to orchestras.
He has continued to work on several high profile projects with Jacknife Lee. He recorded all of Michael Stipe's vocals and was engineer and mix engineer on the REM album 'Accelerate' and he programmed, recorded and mixed their live set for iTunes Live From London. He has also mixed live recordings from their Dublin shows for future use on DVD.
He recorded and programmed Snow Patrol's album 'A Hundred Million Suns' and recorded and mixed their live show for DVD and fan club download and various B sides, including 'Afterlife' used on the single 'Take Back The City'. This year he also recorded part of the Bloc Party album 'Intimacy' and is currently working on new Weezer and Regina Spektor records.
In his own right he has produced the second album for Indie Rock band Transition, and is currently producing their third. He has produced tracks for up and coming rock band Max Raptor and Brighton Port Authority member and Norman Cook collaborator Olly Hite and mixed album tracks for U.S electronic act Walter Meego.
