Ex-Chief Engineer at RAK Studios, James has acquired a wealth of experience in recording, mixing and live recording and has worked with many eminent producers such as Daniel Lanois, Brian Eno, Elvis Costello, Stephen Hague, Marius de Vries, Alan Moulder and, Phil Thornalley. Since going freelance he has worked with
producers Kevin Shields, Dimitri Tikavoi and Gil Norton.
As a producer in his own right he has worked with Akira The Don, Equation and Easyworld. He has engineered and mixed the Nine Inch Nails album 'With Teeth' and their DVD 'Downward Spiral'. He recorded the Placebo album 'Meds' and mixed the singles 'English Summer Rain' and 'Infra Red'. 'He has mixed albums for Ash, Counting Crows, The Oohlas, Young Love and David Ford, and tracks for The Levellers, Hotel Persona, Chief and The Bravery. Recent and current projects: James has been recording an album for Brendan Benson with producer Gil Norton. He is currently mixing an album for Infusion.
